Assault on Club Official who Twitted Him

At West Riding Police-court this morning, William Greenie, miner, Bolton-on-Dearne, was fined 10s and costs for assaulting Walter Tupling.

Complainant is now vice-president the Furlong Lane Club, at Bolton-on-Dearne, and was formerly president.

Whilst he was president defendant was suspended for twelve months for disorderly conduct. Complainant passed defendant s house his way home, and defendant ran out of his house and assaulted him.

Defendant pleaded that complainant twitted him on being suspended.
