Swinton Bridge 0 Bolton on Dearne 1

In the first round of the Yorkshire trophy competition Bolton-on-Dearne Senior School, the holders narrowly defeated Swinton Bridge Council School at Swinton, last night, by 1-0.

Bolton obtained their goal after seven minutes during a scrimmage in the Swinton Roma, when the ball travelled to Skelton who netted smartly.

Bolton on Dearne meet either Conisbrough Middle School of Brampton Bierlow Ellis trust school in the next round.
