Threatening to Shoot a Gamekeeper

At Barnsley yesterday, Francis Lowe, James Smith and George Hardwick, labourer, of Bolton on Dearne were fined 10 shillings each and costs for committing a trespass in pursuit of game on land belonging to Earl Fitzwilliam, at Billingsley.

Law, who had a gun his possession, threatened to blow a hole through one of the keepers, and for this was bound over to keep the peace.
