Soldiers – Matthews, Ernest & Reginald – With Forces

The brothers Ernest and Reginald Matthews, sons of Mrs. Matthews and the late Mr. F. Matthews. of 6, Chapel Street, Bolton, are both with the Forces.

Ernest was in the Territorials before the war, and is now in the R.E. Before enlistment he was a railway worker. Reginald joined up last March and is in the Pioneer Corps. He was previously employed at Barnburgh Colliery. Both boys were educated at Bolton Council School.
