Lance-Bombardier Roy Chaplin, R.A., and Lance-Corporal Ernest Chaplin are the sons of Mr. and Mrs. R. Chaplin, of 96, Furlong Road, Bolton.

Roy is stationed out East. He has been in the Amy for six years and is an old Wath Grammar School boy. Writing home he says he is very fit and well in spite of the intense heat.

Ernest joined up last October, and before being called up was employed as a porter at Frickley station.

Both are receiving the ” Times” every week.
