40, Irving Terrace, Bolton on Dearne, was killed in action on March 12.

He was 19 years of age and single and before enlistment, in August 1916 he was employed by the Doncaster Co-operative Society at Goldthorpe. It will be remembered that he was shot in the thigh during the riots at Goldthorpe in May 1915, being then in the employment of the London Tea Company, whose premises were wrecked and looted by the crowd.

His brother, Sapper F Watson, is serving in France.
