Driver William Henry Lavrack, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lavrack, of 111, Ingsfleld Lane, whose home address is 12 Wragby Row, Roman Terrace. Mexborough, joined the Forces last November.

He was employed at Cadeby Main Colliery.

He was educated at Bolton Council Schools. He was a regular playing member of the Ingsfield Lane Football Club and took a great interest in sport.
