Thomas Henry Harris

aged 22, son of Mr & Mrs G Harris, of 25 Derwent Cottages, Bolton on Dearne, has been killed in action in France.
Prior to enlistment, in August 1914, he was a haulage hand at Hickleton Main. He has seen service in Gallipoli, in Egypy, and in France, and was killed by a shell while taking ammunition up to the guns, the shell killing 3 men and wounding another.
