Soldier – Gray T.S. – Meritorious Service Medal

Quartermaster Sergeant. T. S. Gray (A.S.C.), son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Gray, Angel-st, Bolton-on Dearne, has been awarded the Meritorious Service Medal.

He has been serving since September, 1914, and prior to that was a booking-clerk at the G.N. station, Redford.

He enlisted originally in the K.O.Y.L.I., but was later transferred to the A.S.C., and has been serving with that unit in France for three years.  He has been a warrant-officer since May, 1915, and is at present attached to a divisional headquarters stall.
