“No Man’s Land.”
Road Impassable at Bolton-On-Dearne.
A road between Bolton-on-Dearne and Thurnscoe, known as Man’s Land because no local authority will accept responsibility for its repair, was described as impassable at Bolton Council meeting.
People could not go under the railway bridge for fear of drowning, or over for fear of being run down.
A conference has been arranged on the matter
