Pantomime – “The Sleeping Beauty”

St. Andrew’s Theatrical Society’s annual pantomime this year does not go into production until next January and February but already the members are hard at work on the show.   The society’s publicity officer Mr. R. Lomas, tells me: “Rehearsals are now well under way and even at this early stage, it promises to be the best production we have ever done.”

The Company have a new producer, Miss Mavis Burrows of Wombwell and Mr. Lomas adds “Chorus and principals are working very well indeed. Although it is the first pantomime Miss Burrows has produced, she had already satisfied everybody that she knows her job.”

Production dates are January 28th to February 9th at the Welfare Hall, Goldthorpe and February 11th to 16th at the Majestic Theatre, Wath.
