Missing Bolton on Dearne Man.
Relatives and friends yesterday joined the police in an intensive search for a missing Bolton-on-Dearne man, George Arthur Stanley (23), in whose room a bloodstained razor was found after he had disappeared the previous morning.
A trail of blood, followed for a distance of two and a half miles across open country, stopped a point between the villages of Harllngton and Adwick-on-Dearne, about 100 yards from the river Dearne, which is running high in its flooded state. It is feared that Stanley, exhausted by loss of blood, may have got into the water.
