Bolton Parish Church was filled to capacity on Sunday when Diane Dungworth, aged 11, or 31 Coronation Drive, Bolton, recently elected by Sunday school scholars was crowned May Queen by the boy Bishop Paul Groechel.

In attendance were Carol Bainbridge, Heather Johnson and Paula Ingman. She was presented by the retiring Queen, Janet Cheetham.
