“Juggler” Hollingsworth.
Harry Hollingsworth, whose death we announced last week, devoted the whole of his sporting services to the junior game and in Bolton was one of the junior clubs’ best friends.
He served them as player, trainer, manger and president.
He was a clever forward in his playing clays—hence the name “Juggler”—and would fill any position that happened to be vacant.
He was associated with the Bolton junior clubs for 27 years and at his death was president of Bolton Albion.
The esteem In which he was held by junior players and officials was shown by the large the attendance at the funeral on Sunday, when members of the Bolton Albion club were bearers: and by the following tribute from one of the players of the club:
“He was a true sport, a friend in need and a capable official.”
