William Cox, aged 4, of Field Lane, Bolton on Dearne, was knocked down in Dearne Road, Bolton, yesterday, by a motor-car driven by the Rev. A. E. Sorby, Rector of Darfield, and Rural Dean of Wath.

The child was severely bruised about the head.
