Brian Elliott (age 11) and son of Mr and Mrs H Elliott 21, The Crescent, Bolton, is doing well with his singing.

Following a recent success at Barnsley, when he was third, Brian obtained a first at Pontefract and District Festival last week, when he gained 86 marks.

Brian is a pupil of a Mr D Spink of Thurnscoe
