Thomas Foweather, labourer, of Mexboro’ was fined for street betting, at the Doncaster West Riding Polies Court on Tuesday.
Lister Johnson, miner, of Thurnscoe, was at Doncaster on Tuesday lined 20a. for riding a motor-cycle with as inefficient silencer. It was stated in evidence that the machine was making a noise like a repeating rifle.
George Vincent Samson, property repairer, of Mexborough, was at Doncaster on Tuesday fined 12s. for driving a motor car with an indistinguishable identification plate.
For being drunk and disorderly in Doncaster Road, Denaby, John Conlon, miner, of Denaby, was at Doncaster on Tuesday fined 12s., and Joseph Larney, miner, of Conisborough, who had four previous convictions, was fined 30s. on a similar charge.
For doing damage to potatoes, the property of Mr. Ben Slater, Beatrice Bloor and John Evans, of Bolton on-Dearne, were at Doncaster on Tuesday each fined 40/-.
James Coley, and John Thomas. Burns, miners of Denaby, were at Doncaster, on Tuesday, fined 25/- for trespassing on the L.N.E.R. railway line at Conisborough.
