Compensation Claim for Sole Teenage Defendant

Mr W. E. Raley, on behalf May Westerman (14). sole dependent of Henry Westerman, late of 12, Willow Lane, Bolton-on-Dearne. who’ was killed at Wath Main Colliery September 3rd, 1907 applied for the allocation of £271 18s compensation paid into Court.

The girl said Mr. Raley, lived with married sister.

An order was made for payment at the rate of 10s. per week with a grant of £15 to the married sister,  Mrs Rowe, for expenses incurred.
