Boys’ travelling theatre is coming back to the West Riding again

The National Association of Boys’ Clubs’ Travelling Theatre makes its eagerly-waited return to the West Riding early next month, opening at the Parish Hall. Carleton, Pontefract on February 2.

It will give presentations on successive days at Bolton-on-Dearne, Sclssett, Halifax and Mexborough.

The actors, whose ages range from 18, are drawn from boys’ clubs throughout the country and are under the-direction Mr. Anthony Thomas, drama adviser NA.B.C. They have been given six weeks’ special leave absence from work take part the tour.

Their repertoire Includes one-set plays, burlesques and musical Items.
