The Rev .Cyril Wilkins, who has been appointed Vicar of Bolton-on -Dearne, in succession to the Rev. EHP Spooner, who has retired

Mr. Wilkins, who is at present domestic chaplain to Major G. Lane Fox, M.P., Bramham Park, Boston Spa, was ordained priest by the late Bishop Ryle of Liverpool in 1892.

For 25 years he worked in the city of Liverpool, 23 years at St Thomas’s Toxteth, one of the poorest parishes in the city, and at the beginning of the present year a presentation was made to him in recognition of his long and devoted service in the diocese.
