Bolton on Dearne Honour
Eric Lacey, the Bolton on Dearne schoolboy, who did so well in the England team against Wales, at Grimsby on Saturday has received a further honour in being selected for the international match against Scotland at Cowdenbeath, on Saturday first of May
Note: Eric Lacey joined Barnsley FC in the summer and made his debut against Rotherham United in December 1941. He turned professional on January 1st 1942.
He passed away in March 2015 at the age of 91
