Bicycle Offences

For riding their bicycles without rear lights three Bolton-on-Dearne miners. William E. Harvey (34). George W. Burton (24) and Horace Law (27), were lined 10s. each at Doncaster on Saturday.

At the same court four Bolton-on-Dearne men were summoned for riding their bicycles and failing effectively to screen the front light They were fined as follows:

Harold Abson (44), platelayer, 6s.; Jack Sargieson (20), Miner, 10s.: William Window (24), surface worker, 6s.; Daniel Desbro (31) miner, 6s.

Desbro was also fined 9s. for riding a bicycle without a rear light.
