A Brave Bolton Boy.
Alderman G. Probert, chairman of the Bolton Urban District Council presenting to Samuel Neal, the thirteen-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Neal, of Furlong Road, Bolton, the certificate of the Royal Humane Society, for rescuing a little boy, Leonard Fowler, from drowning in the brickyard pond at Bolton last June.
The presentation took place at the close of the Bolton Urban Council meeting on Tuesday.
