Miners and Income tax.
At the Doncaster West Riding Court yesterday, judgment summonses were laid against the following for failing to pay income-tax, William Barber, Bolton-on Dearne, £1. 9s. 6d.
The defendant was committed to prison for one month in default of payment.
Orders for payment of income-tax were made against Thomas Knighton (16s. 10d.) and Joseph Moriety (15s.), both. of Denaby.
