A Bolton Bride

On Saturday, Frst Air Mechanic Harry Simpson, son of the late Mr William Simpson and Mrs Simpson of Barnsley, and Miss Beatrice Marion Mallett, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs Walton Mallett, three Thurnscoe Road, Bolton on Dearne, were married at St John’s, Barnsley.

The bride’s sister Miss Mary Mallett, acted as bridesmaid, and the duties of the best man was carried out by Mr Douglas Huntington.

The honeymoon was spent at Harrogate, and the bridegroom has since returned to France, where he has been serving for 15 months.
