Ellis-Dawson.
The wedding took place at Bolton Parish Church last week, of Miss Jessie Dawson, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Dawson, 8, Angel Street, Bolton and Mr. James Ellis, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Ellis, 81 Newhill, Wath, the Rev. T. B. Almond officiating.
The bride wore green and pink georgette and carried a spray of carnations, and a prayer book. She was given away by her brother, Mr. Syd Dawson (London), and was attended by Miss M. Ellis. wearing beige and blue floral georgette, and Miss D. Stokes, in beige and green georgette, carrying pink carnations.
Bryan Dobson was page. The best man was Mr. Jack Ellis, and the groomsman Mr. Stanley Dawson.
The presents included three-tier cake-stand from the bridegroom’s employers.
