Private Edward Sissons, of Bolton, on active service in this country, has been in the Territorials for eight years, and was called up at the outbreak of war.

He is a member of the Coronation Club. Thurnscoe, and was formerly employed at Brodsworth Main.

His brother, Private George Sissons, of 53, Windsor Street, Thurnscoe, is also on active service. He was called up in July.

He is a keen footballer and was employed at Hickleton Main Colliery.
