Pte. J. T. Parkinson (21), son of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Parkinson, of 110, Furlong Road, Bolton, is a signaller and is in Italy.  He has been in the Forces for 2½ years.

Before joining up he was employed at the Bolton Furlong Road branch of the Barnsley British Co-operative Society.

His sister Mildred, (19) joined the A.T.S. 11 months ago, and previously was employed at a tank factory.

Mr. and Mrs. Parkinson have a son-in-law Terence Francis Kelly, in the Irish Guards.
