A World Wide Warrior.

Lance Corporal C Grey of Angel Street,  Bolton, is home on leave from Salonika , after three and a years’ absence from this country.

He has seen service in Egypt and Gallipoli taking part in the landing at, Suvla Bay. He also saw service in Serbia during the great retreat, when the entire Franco – British medical establishments were safely evacuated.

Later he went, to Salonika and spent some months in the trenches on the Strutna front. Since then he has been down with malaria, has recovered, and has fought in Palestine and in France. He narrowly escaped capture at Givenchy last April.

He has fought on every British front except that in Italy.
