Married For Third Time
Bolton Bride 79; Husband Over 70
A 79 years old Bolton on Dearne widow was married for the third time on Saturday at Doncaster.
Forty-seven years ao she went out to South Africa with her first husband, Mr. W. Yallop; her six sons now reside there. In 1941 she married Mr. John Brown a Wath widower- he died in 1927. Her third venture is with Mr. T. Watkiss. of 14, Green Gate Close, off Furlong Road, Bolton-on-Dearne.
Mrs. Watkiss’s maiden name was Sarah Cook. She was born at Bolton on May 18th, 1860. Her eldest son is 58; four of the six served in the Great War for three and a half years, and twelve months ago, her youngest son was married and spent his honeymoon in England, part of it with his mother at 15 Green Gate Close. It was his first visit to England, and readers may remember an account of his impressions which appeared in .these columns.
The bridegroom is 71. Mr. and Mrs Watkiss are to live at 14, Green Gate Close.
