Lost a Popular Resident

Bolton has lost one of its most popular residents by the death of Mrs. Eleanor Hepworth (46), which occurred at her home in Low Field Road on Saturday.

Mrs. Hepworth was the wife of Mr. Thos. Hepworth, and was a native of Swinton, but had resided at Bolton for over 40 years.

She was closely identified with the general welfare of the district, and her popularity was reflected in the large number of friends and neighbours who attended the funeral at Bolton on Tuesday.

The service was conducted by the Rev. T. B. Almond.
