Family Grievance” At Bolton

Another assault came from Bolton-on-Dearne Winfred Dribble, 26, Elm Terrace, summoning Albert E. Slatter (miner) her brother for assault.

Complainant said that on Oct. 27th. Slatter called at her house and asked what she had been saying about his business. They got to words and Slatter struck her, making a bruise on the side of her face and knocking her against a wall.

Slatter said. “It is a family grievance. She has caused trouble between all of us. I did not strike her but pushed her from the table when she tried to get a knife.”

Both parties were bound over for a  year.
