Engagement of Commander Begbie’s Daughter

Her Many Friends in Dearne will be interested to hear of the engagement of the daughter of Commander and Mrs. H. H. G. Begbie, of Willow Field, Little Sodbury, Glos.

Mrs. Begbie will be remembered as Miss Ella Lockwood, at one time a prominent member of Dearne Operatic Society.

Commander and Mrs. Begbie’s daughter, Rosemary, became engaged on her 19th birthday, November 20th, to Alasdair Duncan, son of the late Captain A. Campbell, of Lochneil, and of Mrs. Campbell, of Old Dairy House, Horton, Glos.

Miss Begbie is grand-daughter of Mr. Fred Lockwood and of the late Mrs. Lockwood, of the Hawthorns Farm. Bolton.
