Cars in Collision Near Doncaster

Eight people were injured when two cars collided at the junction of Spring-lane with the Doncaster-Melton road at Sprotborough, rear Doncaster, yesterday.

A woman passenger in one of the cars, Mary Baines (27), of Batley-road, Kirkhamgate, Wakefield, was detained in Doncaster Infirmary with concussion. The other occupants were Harry Batty (50), his wife, Mary (52), and son George (28), of Doncaster-road, Wakefield, all of whom went home after treatment at Doncaster Infirmary for facial and other minor injuries.

The occupants of the other car, Horace Boyling, (38), his daughter Phoenix (9), both Marshgate, Doncaster, Walter Boyling (16), of Bolton-on-Dearne, and Jim Greaser (15), of Bolton-on Dearne, went home after treatment for minor injuries and abrasions.
