Dearne Rescue Sequel.

The Bolton-on-Dearne Urban Council, at their monthly meeting, decided to establish a national kitchen at Goldthorpe.

The Chairman presented to Mr. Ernest Corbett, of 32, West Avenue, Bolton-on-Deame, the certificate of the Royal Humane Society, for bravery displayed in the rescue of a boy from the river Dearne, last May.
