Mr. Henry Cutts presided. The Clerk reported that the Council had a balance in the bank £5113s. 9d. on the general account, and £1,195 9s 7d on the loan account.
Dr. F. J. Burman reported a birth-rate of 36 and a death-rate of 23 per 1000 per annum. He had received four notifications of scarlet fever during the month.
It was decided that proceedings be taken against Mr. Dunkerley, a Goldthorpe property owner, for commencing to build without giving the requisite notice, and building with plans which had been rejected.
