And Seven of Them For Moore!

One of the remarkable feat of the season was accomplished on the Bolton ground on Saturday by A. Moore, Bolton s young and dashing centre-forward .
He got seven of the14 goals scored by his side. He scored four in the second half — is this a record for the district? This young player has this season scored over 30 goals in league and cup games for Bolton.
Thurnscoe started with a rush but the Bolton backs, notably Hopper, were in great form and the Thurnscoe forwards were easily held.
Willett and Pape formed a bright right wing for Bolton and they soon got Thurnscoe in difficulties
In. the first two minutes pretty work by them resulted in Holmes scoring from Willett’s centre. Thurnscoe quickly got equal galas but afterwards Bolton took hold of the game. Moore scored three goals, Willett and Holmes two each. One of Holmes goals was scored from the, penalty spot.
