Missing

Mrs. Ethel Brown, of 2, Park End Road, off Furland Road, has received official notification that her husband, Pte. Erik Clare Brown, is missing.

Pte. Brown is the son of Mr. Brown, headmaster of Bolton Modern School, and is in the R.A.S.C. His last letter home was posted on December 24th, the first anniversary of his wedding. He was then in Bombay.

Before enlistment Pte. Brown was employed at the Prudential Assurance Offices at Mexborough.
