Air Display

A 24-year-old Bolton man took part in the Royal Air Force display at Hendon on Saturday.

Sgt air pilot George Cecil Unwin, son of Mr and Mrs George Unwin, of Station Road, an old Bolton family, belongs to the 19th fighting Squadron, and is stationed at Duxford, Cambridge.

He joined up in April 1929 and formerly attended Bolton Council School and Wath Grammar School.
