Great improvements have been made on the cricket ground in the winter.

Between the entrance gates on the railway the sunken areas been levelled up and seating arranged around the north end.

This improvement has been done by tipping clean refuse and at small cost.

About 1500 loads have been deposited and the work is still proceeding on the eastern side.
