A Light List

There was another very light list. Joseph Ball, of Denaby, miner, was fined 5/- and the costs 5/- for having been drunk and disorderly.

For having used obscene language, William Westwood, a filler, of Denaby, had to pay 7/6 and the costs, and Elizabeth Westwood, a married woman, of Denaby, for a similar offence, had 5/- and the costs to pay.

Moses Rounds, a miner, of Bolton, for a like offence, had 5/- and the costs to pay, while two Goldthorpe men, Enoch Oliver and Frank Jordan, had to pay the costs 10/- for fighting.
