Wedding: Davis & Bairstow

At Bolton-on-Dearne Parish Church on Saturday, the Rev. T. B. Almond officiating, Miss Elizabeth May Davis, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. Davis, 50, The Crescent, Bolton-on-Dearne, was married to Mr. Reggie Bairstow, younger son of the late Mr. and Mrs. H. Bairstow, Lower Brockwell, Triangle, Halifax.
The bride was given away by her father and wore a gown of Lido blue crepe-de-Chine, ankle-length, hat to tone, and carried a bouquet of pink carnations and tea roses. She was attended by Misses Annie Edith and Beatrice Davis, who were dressed in blue crepe suede and picture hats and carried sweet peas and fern.
The best man was Mr. W. Davis, and the groomsman Mr. C. A. Davis. A reception was afterwards held at the home of the bride’s parents
