Scored Winning Goal

A. Fennell, son of Mrs. G. Fennell and the late Mr. G. Fennell, of Furlong Road, Bolton, in a letter home this week, says he is feeling fine and tells his mother not to worry.

Cpl. Fennell has been active recently in the Middle East, fighting and playing.

A clash with the Germans caused him to lose his kit, but that didn’t worry him and during a short leave later his team won a cup. Cpl. Fennell scoring the winning goal.
