Council Have Clean Book

“I am very pleased to hear we have a clean book this year,” commented Coun. C. Osgathorpe, vice-chairman of Dearne Urban Council, when a letter was read from the District Auditor stating that there were no matters on his report for the year ending March 31st, 1952, to which he need draw the Council’s attention.

The Auditor thanked the Finance Committee Chairman (Coun. W. Bedford) and officials for their co-operation.

Coun. Harry Foster moved that Coun. Bedford be congratulated. This was seconded by Coun. W. Thompson and carried.
